We’re looking forward to another great year helping our neighbors!

All volunteers must attend ONE orientation session to learn about the project, as well as “Three S’s” – safety, sensitivity and stewardship. There are two options:
Tues, March 3 from 6:30-8:15 PM OR Wed, March 11 from 6:30-8:15 PM. Meetings are held in the Jesse Lee Carriage House. (Snow Dates: Wed, March 4 and Thurs, March 12)

All adult volunteer (anybody out of high school) need to submit to a background check once every three years. The background check form and a copy of our policy and procedure can be found on our Forms page.
Signups for all activities are available once you have registered. When signing up, please keep some things in mind:
All NEW VOLUNTEERS are required to participate in a wheelchair ramp building skills session. This 3-hour session is designed to imitate a standard ASP At Home workday. Participants will be assigned a work crew based on experience and will assist in the assembly of several segments of a wheelchair ramp. RETURNING VOLUNTEERS are given the option of taking this skills session or working on a Spirit Builders ramp build held the first Saturday of each month. This option is called Senior Skills.
Participants should bring their own snack and water bottle. Everyone needs to wear proper work site attire: long pants, a shirt that tucks in (no sleeveless shirts; no low necklines), work boots (no sneakers). Participants with improper attire will be sent home. Everyone needs to bring a 16 oz. hammer, a pair of safety glasses, a pair of work gloves, a tape measure, a speed square, and a pencil.
You will need to register and turn in your Jesse Lee Waiver form prior to participating in Basic Skills or Ramp Building. (Jesse Lee Waiver)
Ramp building sessions will be held in May.
