Jesse Lee Church is excited to once again be offering an opportunity to help families in the Fairfield County area with our summer program, ASP At Home. Our volunteers will be making home repairs and building wheelchair ramps in our local area.
June 30 – July 4
Registration is open. All registrations are due by March 21. If you are interested in volunteering, we suggest you register as soon as possible. In the event we do not have enough adults for everyone to participate, teens will be taken in order of registration. The remaining names will go on a waiting list until more adults volunteer.
To participate in the program, volunteers are required to:
* Register and pay the $225 Registration fee
* Raise $50 in donations from family and friends to help with expenses. Do NOT ask your parents for the money.
* FIRST TIME VOLUNTEERS ONLY: Complete a 2.5-hour Basic Skills session.
* ALL VOLUNTEERS: Complete a Ramp Building skill training session.
*Attend one mandatory orientation meeting held in the Carriage House. There are two options: Wed, March 12 from 6:30-8:00 PM OR Tues, March 18 from 6:30-8:00 PM. Snow dates are March 13 and March 19.
* Attend the Kickoff Meeting on Sunday, June 29 6:30-7:30 PM
* Work Monday through Friday 8:30-4:00. We will work on July 4.
