Jesse Lee ASP At Home
Second Orientation added Tues, March 19 from 6:30-8:30 PM for those who couldn’t make the first session or who signed up after it. Parents and volunteers should attend. Parent meeting lasts about 40 mins. Registration is open online. All registrations are due by March 15.
Jesse Lee Church is excited to once again be offering an opportunity to help families in the Fairfield County area with our summer program, ASP At Home. Our volunteers will be making home repairs and building wheelchair ramps in our local area.
July 1 – July 5 8:30 – 4:00
To participate in the program, volunteers are required to do the following:
- Register and pay the appropriate fee
- Complete a 2.5-hour Basic Skills session – FIRST TIME VOLUNTEERS ONLY
- Complete a Ramp Building skill training session – NEW AND RETURNING VOLUNTEERS
- Attend the mandatory orientation meeting on Tues, February 27 from 6:30-8:30 PM in Martin Hall. A second orientation session has been added on March 19 from 6:30-8:30 PM for those who couldn’t make the first session or who signed up after it.
- Provide their own transportation to and from the work site.
