For all first-timers, this is a 2.5-hour in person session that will include brief lectures and demonstrations on work site safety. It will also include instruction and supervised individual practice on the safe use of the circular saw, power drill, and hammer. These sessions will be held rain or shine so you may need a light rain jacket.
Required attire is: long pants, a shirt that tucks in (no sleeveless shirts; no low necklines), work boots (no sneakers) and a face mask. If you have long hair, please tie it back. Participants with improper attire will be sent home.
Everyone needs to bring a 16 oz. claw hammer, a 12′ or longer retractable tape measure, flat pry bar, speed square, pencil, and a pair of safety glasses. Please text Nik Parker at 203-788-6704 if you have any questions about these tools.
You will need to register for this session through the website.
